U15/16 SUMMER LEAGUE
The Aurora Baseball League (ABL) is offering an opportunity for players age U15/U16 to play summer baseball. The play will be in a local travel league, the Eastern Suburban League. The league consists of local teams from Twinsburg, Solon, and Nordonia, and may include teams from other local communities as well. Other details are provided below:
• Play begins after the high school season ends, approximately June 1 • Play 3 games per week, Tuesday and Thursday evening, Saturday morning • Season lasts for 6 weeks – 18 games total • Play on full sized fields – 60’6” pitching, 90’ bases • 2 certified umpires per game • Fees are $150, which includes a uniform This league has been established for over 30 years. The ABL fielded a team in this league last year after several years of absence. Our experience was positive, and we are trying to determine if we have enough interest from high school kids who want to keep playing baseball to establish additional teams this year.
