"The objective of the ABL shall be to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier youth and will grow to be decent, healthy, and trustworthy adults."
To achieve this objective, the ABL will provide a supervised program of competitive baseball games under the Rules and Policies set forth by this Constitution and the Officers, Directors, and members of the ABL. The stressing of exceptional athletic skills or winning of games is of secondary importance in achieving the objectives of the ABL.
Article II from the Aurora Baseball League Constitution
The ABL is run entirely by volunteers. Directors and Coaches offer their time because they care about the kids of Aurora and because they love the game of baseball. We can always use more volunteers on every level.
